Last weekend 21 students from Years 10, 11 and 12 ventured out to the Borozsony Hills to undertake their practice expedition for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
Students worked as teams to plan hiking routes and meals. They carried all the food and equipment they needed for the expedition. As well as developing team-working skills, resilience and independence, students were able to enjoy the beautiful environment of the Duna-Ipoly national park. Some groups were lucky enough to spot the elusive fire salamander! Congratulations to all students who successfully completed the expedition!
