After graduating, Amy spent a year working part time in a private nursery and part time volunteering for the charity Kids Company. In 2015 Amy started full time teaching as a Reception teacher in a large inner-city primary school in South East London. During her third year there, she also co-led Physical Education for the entire primary school.
Amy is passionate about holistic learning. She believes children thrive best in a school environment that is safe, nurturing and values each child as an individual. She is ambitious for the children in her class and values the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum. Amy believes that capturing a child's imagination through their learning will give them the confidence to grow and achieve the best that they can.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys running and is developing her yoga practice. She likes to cook and try out different recipes for family and friends. Amy enjoys exploring her new home of Budapest and the new experiences this vibrant city has to offer.
