Ryan Guest

Year 4 Lilac Teacher

After gaining a B.A. in Geography and Planning and a Graduate Diploma of Education at the University of New England, Armidale, Australia, Mr Guest worked for 4 years for the Environmental Protection Agency in Queensland in the Sustainable Industries Division. In 2001 he moved to the UK, began teaching and became a P.E. coordinator soon asfter. After gaining a grade of “Outstanding” for the P.E. programme he had implemented, he was chosen as one of ten primary teachers in the U.K. to re-write the Key Stage 2 and 3 P.E. curricula.

Mr Guest also established the sports coaching company “Sports London” which he was co-director of for 5 years. He left the UK in 2012 to return to Australia, where he taught P.E. and primary school classes at the Sathya Sai Buddhist school in Murwillumbah, New South Wales. After considering overseas teaching posts in several other countries, Mr Guest chose to join our team as it is a successful and growing education group with a clear mandate to deliver high quality learning for students.

Mr Guest is a lively and energetic person who approaches life and work with enthusiasm and a smile. Curious by nature, with an insatiable appetite for travel, he enjoys sports, music and good food - even dabbling in the culinary arts himself. After growing up on a farm in rural New South Wales, Australia, Mr Guest hopes to one day retire on a small farm there and produce high quality, boutique produce.
