Pooja has more than 12 years of teaching experience in a variety of educational institutions in India. A post graduate in Information Technology, her association with the Computer Club gave her the ideal opportunity to work closely with the students as their mentor. In her previous experience Pooja has a successful record of team leadership. She has also successfully run International Model United Nations programmes, and her previous school was awarded the International School Award by the British Council in 2013-2016.
Pooja joined The British International School Budapest in 2017 and has experienced working with various departments. She now teaches Computer Science at BISB.
Pooja is passionate about teaching high level programming languages in Computer Science. She believes in ensuring a learning and teaching environment that provides students with an outstanding experience but also provides an ideal leaning environment. She firmly believes that the power, creativity and talent of the students need to be nurtured carefully to ensure that they become technologically advanced and responsible human beings of tomorrow.
Pooja lives in Budapest with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys working around new applications, developing fun algorithms and relaxing with some Yoga apart from traveling and discovering new places with her family.
