Emma began her career in Music as a Piano Teacher in 2014. Emma then studied Music at the University of Nottingham (2016-2019) and continued to teach instrumental lessons for piano, flute and saxophone throughout her degree. In 2019, Emma began her career as a school Music Teacher to children aged 3-16 in Buckinghamshire, UK.

Emma has had a number of years of experience playing the flute, piano and saxophone in various orchestras and concert bands, and has toured Europe with these ensembles in countries such as Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, The Netherlands and Germany.

Emma has always dreamed of living and working internationally as a Music teacher and is delighted to start that journey at BISB.

Emma strives for mutual respect in and outside the classroom and is dedicated in supporting students to find their passions within Music. Emma is an enthusiastic teacher and musician herself, who believes firmly in the many benefits of music education for all ages. Emma encourages students to work ambitiously in Music, both in the classroom and as part of extra-curricular, to allow all students to shine in their own ways.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys trying her hand at anything creative, whether it be crocheting, scrapbooking, film photography, painting or jewellery making! Emma also enjoys writing and travelling.
