Christopher started his career playing and studying football. This has come in great use in his coaching of the girls’ football teams at the British International School, Budapest. Christopher was also heavily involved in swimming projects aimed at integrating minority communities. These projects were a success, as many of the adults from those communities went on to become lifeguards, and swimming teachers themselves. Christopher has been involved in teaching since 2001 and has brought many of these experience to the British International School, Budapest.
Christopher joined the BISB in 2006, and has enjoyed many roles within the school as a classroom assistant, swimming teacher, and also the coach of the girls’ football teams.
Christopher believes that every child deserves the opportunity to find their success, be it from the inner walls of a classroom, or in an open space. When he sees a child finding their ambition from a spark of interest and then driven to aim high and further, the memory always stays with him.
Christopher is above all a father and spends his free time with his family going for walks, and trips out. He is also a keen football and swimming fan, and from time to time enjoys watching and listening to football matches and swimming competitions. He hopes by doing this he is able to bring more up-to-date knowledge from new techniques to his other roles at the school.
