Hannah started her teaching career in 2009 in Oxford. After three years she took up her first international teaching post in Vietnam. It was here that she developed her experience in delivering IGCSE PE and the IBDP Sport Exercise and Health Science courses. After three years in Vietnam, Hannah returned back to the UK to work in a Girls’ Independent School as Head of Activities and Academic PE. Hannah’s passion for international teaching led to her return to SE Asia where she became Co-curricular Activities Coordinator and Head of Year 10 at a school in Thailand. Hannah is very excited to be joining BISB as Head of PE and is looking forward to contributing to the further development of the PE department and BISB Sport as a successful community.
Hannah fully supports a Sport for All: Sport for Life philosophy and is a firm believer that there is a sport for everyone. She is passionate about ensuring talented athletes have the opportunities and support to realise their full potential, whilst also encouraging a lifelong love for sport and physical activity in all her students. Hannah appreciates the importance of leading by example and providing a rich and varied PE curriculum and Co-curricular Activities programme.
When not working Hannah enjoys the outdoors, particularly running, both on the trails and on the road and she is looking forward to taking up cycling in the beautiful Budapest hills. Hannah is also a keen artist, regularly using her free time to sketch.
