A virtual visit from Ghanim Al-Sulaiti This week, Compass International School Doha students were part of a webinar held by local entrepreneur Ghanim Al-Sulaiti. Ghanim who owns several businesses in Qatar spoke to students about his success and lessons learned to date.

Ghanim who is a young entrepreneur and owner of seven organic, plant-based and vegan businesses across Qatar spoke with our Year 10 - 12 and Business students on Thursday. One of the discussions with the students was around his business ideas, why he decided to become a vegan and how his businesses have expanded and survived during the challenging times of the pandemic. Ghanim also spoke about the process he followed in opening his business, the pitfalls and successes. 

 

Ghanim is also the first person to open up a vegan restaurant in any airport in the world, it opened in Hamad International Airport in 2020.

 

The students thoroughly enjoyed his talk, and we are hoping that we can invite Ghanim into our Themaid Campus, in person, next year so that he can meet the students in person.
