High School Weekly Update

On Wednesday evening, our Class of 2022 students learned about what is to come for their final two years of high school. Both our counselors and our IB Coordinator were on hand to guide students through the upcoming events that they need to be attentive to so that they are making the best decisions as they come to the end of the sophomore year. Some of the topics that were highlighted are as follows:

  • Finishing the sophomore year strong

  • What to do during the summer

  • Starting the college process to discover the best fit

  • Discovering your desires with regard to where the student wants to go to college - it’s a personal decision

  • IB - Choosing the best path for the individual student (IB Diploma, IB Honors, IB Certificate, No IB)

The program proved beneficial for all who attended as students were able to hear what they needed to do and parents learned about their continued role in supporting their children. To learn more about what happens during the sophomore year, check out the Website for College Planning in Grade 10.
