Staff Profile: Miss H. Rogers

Miss H. Rogers

Primary Class Teacher (Lam Tin)

Hannah has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Brighton and graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BA (Hons) in Social Justice and International Relations.

After completing my degree, I moved to Taiwan to take up a post teaching English as a foreign language. It was here I discovered my love for teaching and after a year in Taiwan I returned to the UK to complete a PGCE in primary teaching. Since qualifying as a teacher I have worked in a fantastic infant school just outside Brighton as a KS1 teacher. I also was the Art and Design Technology subject leader.

I share my passion for learning with the children I teach and see it as my role to give children the skills to become lifelong learners. As a Key Stage 1 teacher I think its vitally important to focus on whole child development and strive to make my class room a calm and nurturing environment where children feel able to push their boundaries and realise their potential.
