Dear Parents,
Nursery Visit to KidsFest
Last Thursday, our Nursery children enjoyed a memorable outing to the theatre for a performance of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. From the moment we boarded the coach, the children were full of excitement and curiosity. They demonstrated wonderful listening, and excellent behaviour throughout the journey and the performance – Well done!

The show itself was magical. Through vibrant puppetry, music, and colourful staging, the story—and several other Eric Carle favourites—came to life in the most enchanting way. The children watched with wide eyes as the tiny egg on a leaf cracked open, followed the caterpillar’s joyful munching through the days of the week, and cheered as he transformed into a beautiful butterfly. A big thank you to our parent volunteers for joining us to help with the trip.
Year 1 Sports Day
On Friday, our Year 1 children joined the rest of Key Stage 1 for an energetic and action packed Sports Day. The field was filled with smiles, determination, and an incredible sense of team spirit. Children had the chance to participate in a wide variety of activities—including sprints, relays, throwing challenges, obstacle courses, and jumping events—each designed to promote physical confidence, coordination, and collaboration.
One of the most heartwarming parts of the morning was seeing our students demonstrating real courage: trying new activities, putting in their very best effort, and celebrating each other’s successes. The encouragement from families on the sidelines added so much warmth and enthusiasm to the atmosphere—thank you for cheering them on so brilliantly. It was a morning full of movement, perseverance, and pride, and we hope your children came home feeling as accomplished as they looked.

Chinese New Year Celebrations – This Friday
As we move through this festive week, there is a wonderful sense of excitement on campus as we prepare to welcome the Lunar New Year together. Our Chinese New Year celebrations will take place this Friday, and we are very much looking forward to sharing this special cultural event with the children and we hope that many of you can also join.
We will begin the morning with a traditional Lion Dance, generously sponsored by our PTA—always a highlight of the calendar year. The sound of drums, the vibrant colours, and the energy of the performance create a truly memorable experience for our students, helping them deepen their appreciation for this important festival. Throughout the morning, children will also take part in a class performance and a variety of cultural activities that celebrate tradition, creativity, and cultural understanding.
