Mr. C. Holt

Mr. Holt

Head of Year 1 & 1B Class Teacher

Mr. Christopher Holt worked for the British Academy School, Beaver Road in Manchester, UK. After studying for a BA (Hons) in History at Lancaster, he completed his PGCA at the University of Cumbria. He has previously occupied the post, Head of History, and worked in Year 2. He has embarked upon residential trips with his year group and his highlight so far is attending the BBC Blue Peter Christmas TV show with the school.

As the Head of History I have led the new national curriculum changes, brought in more resources, overseen the implementation of History across the school, and organised trips that promote historical interest. I am passionate about History and believe that understanding our past guides our futures.

I create a warm and welcoming classroom environment where purposeful learning is encouraged by promoting children’s growth and independence.

Christopher enjoys travelling and has recently visited Japan and New York. He enjoys hiking and biking and is looking forward to exploring all that Hong Kong has to offer.
