Dear Parents,
As we approach the end of this wonderful first term, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements of our children and share the joy of last week’s festive performances. Over the past several weeks, the children have been busy rehearsing their lines, songs, and actions, and their hard work truly shone through. We are so proud of each and every one of them!
Year 1 – Whoopsie Daisy Angel
Our Year 1 children opened the week of performances with their delightful rendition of Whoopsie Daisy Angel. From the very first note, their confidence and enthusiasm were evident. The children sang beautifully, danced with energy, and delivered their lines with such joy and assurance. It was a pleasure to see how much they have grown in confidence, and their genuine enjoyment of performing was clear for all to see. Well done, Year 1 – what a truly heartwarming performance!
Reception – Baarmy Bethlehem
Next, our Reception children took to the stage with Baarmy Bethlehem, and what a treat it was! Their singing was full of life, and their actions brought smiles to everyone in the audience. The children performed with such heart and happiness, creating a magical atmosphere that captured the spirit of the season. We could not have been prouder of their creativity and teamwork. Bravo, Reception – you amazed us all!
Nursery – The Christmas Star
Finally, our Nursery children closed the week with their charming version of The Christmas Star. Their voices rang out with gusto as they sang their festive songs, and their excitement was contagious! Watching them share this special moment with their parents and families was truly joyful. Well done, Nursery – you ended our week of celebrations on the perfect note!
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all parents, carers, and friends who joined us to celebrate these performances. Your support means so much to the children and to us as a school community.
