Ms. E. Penrose

E. Penrose

6D Class Teacher

Miss Penrose graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in Social Sciences, before completing a PGCE at The University of Wales, Swansea.  From here she moved to Richmond upon Thames, teaching first in an infant school, and then moving onto a four form entry primary school.

Having begun my teaching career in Year 1, I have since taught every year group in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, which has given me the amazing opportunity to work with children of all ages.  As well as previously co-ordinating Science, History and Geography, I have also enjoyed being involved in different extra-curricular activities.

I believe that all children should be fully involved in their learning, and I strive for 100% engagement in every lesson I teach.  I also believe that children should learn in an environment where a sense of enjoyment and fun is evident, as well as feeling confident enough to be brave – to have a go, and to keep on going.

In my spare time I enjoy playing netball, circuit training, reading, running, cinema and music.  I am greatly looking forward to the opportunity of working and living in Hong Kong and experiencing all the fantastic opportunities this will bring.
