Year 1 Class Teacher: A - Adelie Penguins

Miss Lowe holds a double degree in Education, specialising in Early Childhood Education, and Human Services from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. During her time at university Miss Lowe studied abroad in the USA at Virginia Tech as an international student, this began Miss Lowe’s love of travelling and exploring new countries and cultures.

Miss Lowe has worked as an Early Years teacher in Australia and also in London, where she lived for 5 years before moving to Hong Kong in 2019. She is passionate about supporting young children with developing their communication and language skills, and ensuring children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) are effectively supported in their learning and development alongside their peers. In London, Miss Lowe worked as an EAL coordinator and Communication Lead, to enhance the provision for pupils requiring additional support with developing their proficiency in English and communication skills to be able to access the curriculum.

Miss Lowe enjoys visiting new countries, learning about the history of places and exploring new cultures. She has visited 53 countries and is looking to further explore more of Asia during her time here at Nord Anglia Hong Kong.
