I love being a language teacher, because it is a role in which I can work to broaden my students’ cultural knowledge, enlarging their vision of the world and how they can apply this to their personal aims and aspirations. Language teaching perhaps more than any other kind can open new doors to enjoyment in their learning that is the prerequisite of their development into independent decision-makers and confident young adults. Nurturing this transformation in each of my students is my passion.
My style of teaching encompasses creative and fun classroom activities and encourages interactivity and high student participation, which brings enthusiasm and happiness into the classroom to create a positive learning environment.
I am interested in going to the theatre, contemplating the differences between books and their cinematic adaptations, travelling, writing calligraphy, and playing basketball.
