With many years of staging productions, the “Village Repertory Theatre” program is one of The Village School’s greatest attributes and sources of community engagement. Giving voice to all of the Fine Arts Division, students work collaboratively from all the Fine Arts Divisions individual departments to design, produce, stage and perform a fully realized Theatre Production.
Our Production seasons have included shows such as: “The Music Man”, “The King and I”, “Wizard of Oz”, “Peter Pan”, “Elf the Musical”, “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Guys and Dolls”.
Students work in cohort “Theatre Troupes” dependent on their grade level and the specific shows chosen for the season. We currently have 8 “troupes” - Kindergarten/First, Second/Third, Fourth/Fifth, Middle School, High School, 1st-3rd and “Whole School”!
If your child is looking for a way to experience the thrill, and teamwork, of performance and production, VRT is the perfect way to put young actors in the spotlight!
