Internship Program at The Village School

  • Kangaroo truck picture

The Village School delivers the highest-quality, well-rounded academic experience as possible and that’s why we have provided our high school students with competitive summer 2016 internship opportunities.  Our internship partners are:

·      Texas Children’s Hospital
·      Methodist Institute for Technology
·      The Memorial Buzz Magazine
·      The Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation
·      David Young & Co/Young Intelligence
·      Adam Henderson Law Firm
·      Bursy Group
·      Bay Area Gastroenterology

What have our students been up to during their internships?

· Mohammad K., Village student and Texas Children’s Hospital intern, has been shadowing health care leaders and has been learning project management fundamentals. Here’s Mohammad hanging out in the Kangaroo Crew ambulance that brings critically ill babies and children to Texas Children’s Hospital.

· Ananya G., Village student and David Young & Company intern, directed a video showcasing the 77079 community of Houston.  Check it out:

All of the students enjoyed the learning opportunity.
