The Village School hosted the 3rd annual fashion show, entitled, "Pixelated" on March 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This collaborative Middle and High School visual art production included a 7th-12th-grade wearable art fashion runway featuring Danny Nguyen's couture prom line and an intermission performance by middle school vocalist Darcie Birbiglia. The show featured guest judges visual artist Natalie Irish and fashion designer Danny Nguyen, who recognized several of The Village School designers with awards.
Immediately following the fashion show, an after-party gallery was hosted in the high school, showcasing 5th-12th grade artwork throughout the entire second floor. Live art drawing, painting performances, "art chair" raffles and delicious food was also present at the event, as the show's models displayed their exquisite designs among the crowd.
The night was such a success thanks to our guest judges, model hair and makeup done by Josephine's Day Spa, live art by The Art Cellar of Houston, and of course, our talented students and Fine Arts Department that put in hours of hard work!
