The end of a school year often becomes a time for reflection. Our graduating class looks back, not only on their senior year, but their entire time at Village. For many of our Viking graduates, their Village journey began in previous divisions- middle school, elementary school, even the pre-k division. The annual Senior Walk is an opportunity for seniors to parade the halls of all Village’s divisions in their caps and gowns. They high-five enthusiastic underclassmen and receive embraces from proud, teary-eyed teachers who have taught them in earlier grades.
Class of 2019’s Teddy E. is one such Viking, who began at Village as a kindergartener. Teddy’s variety of interests were nurtured throughout his years here. As a goalie for the lacrosse team, he achieved a Village record of 511 saves in his four-year Varsity career. This incredible natural talent and drive resulted in Teddy signing to play lacrosse at the Maine Maritime Academy. With a passion for engineering, he plans to pursue a marine engineering degree there. Named the 2019 Emerson Scholarship Winner, Teddy has been given a large sum towards his education from Emerson Automation Solutions. We congratulate Teddy on these exciting achievements and look forward to seeing him develop these talents even further.
