On September 19, 2017, students from The Village School will once again have the opportunity to spend a week working with Frantic Assembly practitioners to create an original performance. During the residency, students will be introduced to Frantic Assembly’s unique approach to making physical material and devising from simple building blocks.
Frantic Assembly is an internationally renowned theatre company responsible for Harry Potter Live in the West End of London and due to hit Broadway next year, and also for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. They have toured extensively across Great Britain, and worked in 40 countries internationally, collaborating with some of today’s most inspiring artists.
Frantic Assembly is committed to learning and training and has been liberating the potential of future theatre makers for over 21 years. Working with over 10,000 young people aged 14+ every year, the company run workshops and works with young people in schools, colleges, universities, youth theatres and more.
