VSPA aims to be a positive support group for the Village School, by providing an organized forum for fundraising projects for the needs of the school.
These projects will be beneficial to the maximum number of student body members possible, given the wide spectrum of needs represented in the student body of the Village School. VSPA is not involved in direct fundraising, but aims to raise funds in a more passive fashion.
Here are a few of our passive initiatives that parents and students can participate in:
VSPA Magazine Sale is THE place to renew those expiring magazine subscriptions, start a new one or purchase as a gift for your teacher/classroom or get a jump on your holiday shopping! Items such as gift wrap, home decor, teacher gifts and other exciting options are available year round. For every dollar purchased, The Village School Parent Association receives 40 cents, which is then used to purchase "extra's" or assist in funding major projects for the benefit of all our students.
It's a thrill to see your name in lights, especially when it's your birthday! Download the form at the bottom of this page, then fill in and drop-off at the Elementary School reception desk.
Box Tops For Education
Clip the pink ‘Box Top’ label from all of your favorite products you’re already buying. Once a month, parent volunteers collect these labels at the Elementary School and Finna, plus there is a box at Village West all year round…and in return, VSPA donates these contributions to a local school or charity: www.boxtops4education.com.
