About the role:

We are looking for a suitably qualified, committed and experienced PYP teacher to join a successful Primary Department. As a PYP teacher at International College Spain, the successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery of the Primary Years Programme in Grade 5. You will have an enthusiastic approach to teaching your class and the ability to inspire your students and other members of your department so they can deliver a high standard of teaching.  You will work well as a team member and prepare the programme together through collaborative planning sessions and Units of Inquiry.

About you:

As a qualified teacher, you will be a fluent English speaker and have experience of delivering the IB programme. You will be committed to developing personalised approaches to learning and experienced in the latest assessment methods. You will be an excellent communicator, who works in partnership with colleagues, students and parents to create a learning environment that delivers educational excellence. You will be keen to contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum and will be an effective professional with outstanding subject knowledge and experience of teaching. You will be resilient and able to work in a fast paced timetable, preparing performance pieces. You will hold a Spanish degree and a CAP or equivalent.
