The children went to Kuala Selangor Nature Reserve to explore animals habitats and the importance of ecosystems and the role that they play in our lives. We were knee-deep in a swamp where the children planted young trees to help bolster the delicate and finely balanced mangrove ecosystem.
Then, we embarked on a ‘treasure hunt’ around the park and were lucky enough to see otters, huge monitor lizards, silver-leaf monkeys and mudskippers to name a few. The children’s behaviour was superb as always and their enquiring minds were filled after a great trip. Well done Year 4!
