NAIS Manila HSK Exam Results Announced 04 September 2019 The results are out and we are pleased with the wonderful results of the HSK Examinations done last 16th June 2019 at the NAIS Manila campus. A total of 73 of students took the examinations ranging from Levels HSK 1 to HSK 4. Our Primary results yielded an Average of 84% pass rate with Year 3 having the highest pass rate at 84%, and Year 5 next at 83%. At Secondary, results averaged a 92% pass rate with Years 7 and 10 achieving a 100% pass rate. Special mention to 7 students achieving perfect scores of 100% across the 3 exam tasks. Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), translated as Chinese Proficiency Test, is Administered by Hanban, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. HSK is the most authenticated and the only standardised international test for Mandarin Proficiency Certification for non-native speakers, which approximates the English TOEFL or IELTS and aims at serving as proof of Chinese language proficiency for higher educational and professional purposes. The Mandarin Department at NAIS Manila aims to ensure and elevate the quality of Mandarin learning in school, and will now make the HSK Examinations an annual testing program happening in April or May, involving Year 3 to Year 12 students Once again, congratulations and good work to all the examinees and thank you to all the parents who supported all the students in their reviews.
