OUR EYFS CURRICULUM

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at Nord Anglia International School Manila consists of Early Years 1 and Early Years 2 and encompasses the time in your child's life from age 2 to 5.

Our aim at NAIS Manila is to provide a happy, safe, and progressive environment, in which your child will develop the necessary skills to enable them to become Independent, ambitious, lifelong learners.

Building a Strong Foundation

We know children learn best when they’re happy, engaged, and motivated, which is why we offer a wide range of opportunities that both fascinate and challenge.

In our Early Years classrooms, we bring together the power of two international programmes to lay a strong foundation for future learning: The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and the topics and themes used in the National Curriculum for England.

We make full use of our play areas and dedicated early years garden, which are an extension of the classroom. Your child will enjoy a variety of outdoor experiences that not only develop their movement and gross motor skills, but also connect them to the wider world.

Whether it’s learning a new song or dance, playing a tune on the keyboard, or running, jumping, or swimming in our outdoor spaces, specialist music and PE lessons encourage collaboration and cognitive development.
