Hannah Tibbs

Hannah Tibbs Early Years Teacher

EYFS Teacher

Hannah holds a BA Honours Degree in Education Studies and Theatre Arts from the University of Derby and completed her PGCE in 2014 at the University of Northampton. This will be her 8th year of teaching in Primary school, handling Years 2 to 5. For the past 4 years, Hannah has been teaching at the Nord Anglia International School Al Khor, Qatar where she was Head of Year 3.

My teaching philosophy is all about creating fun, hands-on experiences that inspire children to have a love of learning. I love using drama, music, singing, art and cooking whenever possible in my lessons as I feel these skills are such an important part in a child's development. My favourite lessons to teach are topic and maths as you can really be creative and have lots of fun!

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, eating in restaurants and learning new recipes to try at home. In Qatar, I enjoyed playing netball, so I hope to find a new sports team or hobby to try when I am in Manila. My main passion is to travel. I love exploring new cultures and have had the opportunity to visit some wonderful places, such as the Taj Mahal in India and Petra in Jordan. I am really looking forward to living in Southeast Asia and I cannot wait to experience life in the Philippines.
