Principal

Prior to his appointment as Principal at Nord Anglia International School Manila, Chris served as the Head of Primary from 2014 and has overseen the development of the Primary School.

He has played a lead role in enabling NAIS Manila to be recognised as an award-winning International School and as one of the leading International Schools in the Philippines. Chris is a graduate of the Nord Anglia Education Senior Leaders and Aspiring Principals Programmes.

Throughout my career I have been fortunate to lead organisations and schools, in which the values align closely with my own. Inspired by positive role models throughout my own schooling, I believe that schools are built around relationships, connections and that every child deserves a chance. I have always been interested in educators knowing their pupils as individuals and adapting their teaching to cater for the needs of all children in their care, in order to maximize learning. As well as a strong, child centered approach my other passion is the wellbeing of staff and children.

As a proud Cornishman, my main hobbies are rugby and surfing.  Although it seems to be much more watching rugby than playing at the moment! I love exploring the fantastic opportunities the Philippines has to offer and live in Manila with my wife, Judi and daughter, Aishena.
