Millie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and has worked previously as a school nurse at the International Christian Academy. When the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020, she started serving her community as a front-liner who responded to numerous crises calls of people affected by the Covid-19 virus.
Growing up I have been taught that a kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal. Seeing from my grandparents how this resulted to a lot of rewarding memories and transformed lives, I developed a passion for caring for the children and their families. My summer breaks were spent in volunteering in the community or church missions.
I have also developed the love for photography since becoming a mom, putting memories of my family in prints. I became a professional photographer and a member of the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation and the Ayala Alabang Camera Club that led me to be invited by a world-renowned photographer, Joe McNally, to be a front cover model of his e-book, The Light and The Life: Field Notes from a Photographer.
As much as I enjoy these wonderful opportunities in my life, it is and will always be my greatest joy to just spend time with my family over road trips, meals or movies.
