I have been working as a scientist and lecturer for over 10 years. My speciality is marine biology. My first science project was assisting in data collection and egg collection on a turtle conservation project on the beaches of Guatemala in 2005.
Since then I have worked on many different projects including mapping underwater cave systems in Mexico, tour guiding on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, researching fish behaviour in the Caribbean, and advising the government of the Philippines where they should implement Marine Protected Areas. During this time I was also regularly teaching science, marine biology, SCUBA diving and conservation in local school and universities around the world as a guest speaker. I started working at NAIS Manila in 2017.
