¡Hola! Bonjour! Ni Hao!
So many things have happened in the MFL lessons since we started the year!
In French, Y3 students have been getting to grips with the basics such as saying their name and asking people how they are. They really loved jumping around to the ‘je m’appelle funny bear’ song. Further up the school, the year 6 students have been working on a selfie project with the IPADs. They have been describing where they are in the photos in their best French.
In Chinese, the children in year 4 have been talking about their feelings, whilst in year 6 they have been learning to write their first Chinese characters practising their strokes in great depth and enjoying themselves at the same time.
In Spanish, F3 classes are being taught lots of new vocabulary like the colours and body parts by ‘Carmen’ the Spanish doll. Year 5 students are improving their speaking skills with class presentations and also learning about all the Spanish speaking countries in the world.
We all look forward to a fun filled and exciting year in MFL!
