AP1 Campus Updates
There have been some significant updates to the campus since the end of last term, including the creation of a new large learning space for our F1 children, the installation of new surfacing for our MP1 playground and the introduction of water fountains across the site to ensure cool and filtered water can be enjoyed by all. Thank you for sending your children into school with named water bottles which helps us to significantly reduce the use of plastic cups.
Welcome to our New Teaching Staff
At the beginning of every new school year, it is a privilege to meet new members of our teaching staff from around the world. Meet them here!
Our Mission Statement – The Aide Memoire
Our first whole school assembly took place on Wednesday with a focus upon the Aide Memoire attribute of Enquiry. The four areas that we discussed were based upon what we term the ‘outstanding learning statements’ that help to guide children in their everyday choices. For enquiry, these are:
- I am a brave talker
- I ask relevant questions and talk confidently about new ideas
- I choose how to research new ideas
- I am willing to try new things
Ask you children how they are going to be effective enquirers over this first half term
The Ai
de Memoire symbol for Enquiry.
Children receive stickers in the back of
their diary for demonstrating any of the
6 attributes from our Aide Memoire.
Uniform – A Reminder To All Parents
Thank you for sending your child to school in the correct uniform. Please can you ensure that all children wear the correct footwear of ‘sensible black leather shoes’. Details of all uniform requirements are outlined on page 4 in our Primary Parent Handbook.
Traffic Along Nguyen Van Huong Street
I have been very pleased to observe the improved traffic flow during the first three days of this term. For both ease of flow and safety purposes, please ensure that the following essentials are adhered to.
- No cars should be parked for long periods of time outside of school – cars should pull in and drop off only on both sides of the road alongside the school grounds.
- Never U Turn along the stretch of road outside both AP1 and AP2 – if your car needs to turn round, please travel away from school and U Turn where the road is wider and not congested.
- Ask your driver to show respect to our guards and follow their instructions.

And Finally………
Are you an ‘I can’ person or an ‘I can’t’ person?
We have asked the children at An Phu Primary Campus this week the same question and shared the following video with them. They definitely CAN!
I wish you all a very relaxing weekend.
