The students from 2N and 2H warmly greeted the Anh Minh students and teachers at Gate A and escorted them to the classrooms. Once settled in the classrooms, the students were welcomed and friendships were quickly formed. Barriers such as communication and shyness were soon overcome as the children got to know each other and made new friends through common interests, play and discovery.
The children were offered a choice of fun activities including, art and craft activities like playdough and card making. The marble run and train sets were very popular with all of the students as they worked collaboratively to construct tracks and towers. Many of the children bonded over the Lego, sharing Lego pieces and creating wonderful models. A very popular and active choice was the climbing frame where children supported each other to climb to the top of the frame and challenge themselves.
Next week, the students from 2N and 2H will be lucky enough to visit the Anh Minh students at their own school. We look forward to meeting up with friends and playing together again. We are also very excited about the 20 minute bus ride and visiting a different school.
All in all, it was a fabulous experience for all of the students and teachers involved. We hope that you enjoy looking at the photos.
