Year 6 ‘Primary Journeys’ Exhibition

28 June 2018

On Wednesday 27th June, the Year 6 children opened the doors to their ‘Primary Journeys’ Exhibition and they shared their creative work proudly with their parents and friends.

  • Year 6 exhibition (5)
  • Year 6 exhibition (7)

  • Year 6 exhibition (6)

In class, the children were asked to create a piece of artwork which showed an aspect of their development or personality since they started school. Some children were influenced by abstract artists and painted multi-coloured canvases, whilst others create 3D models, hanging displays, animations and even tents! Ms Ella worked with the students during art lessons, producing monochrome linograph prints of the painting ‘Tiger in a Tropical Storm’ using over 150 individual tiles. On the Music Stage, supported by Ms Frances and Mr Jon, children confidently delivered their pieces and on the Performance Stage we were treated to dance, drama and poetry. A huge thank you to all the staff, parents and of course, the children for their efforts. Amazing!
