Parent Coffee Morning - Specialists in the Community

We are able to support children at BIS in lots of different ways, from language development and reading to behaviour, emotional and social skills.

Many children across the school access the Learning Support Department on a weekly basis.   Working closely with specialists in our community is one way we can support parents and help children to make the best progress possible.

 On Tuesday this week, we were delighted to welcome a range of different specialists from our community into a BIS coffee morning.  They included Speech and Language Therapists, Behaviour Support Therapists, an Educational Psychologist, Counsellors and an Occupational Therapist. They were able to tell us all a bit more about their professions and answer lots of questions from the parents attending.
