A warm welcome back to you all!

Wherever you have travelled, however you have spent your time I hope everyone has enjoyed a wonderful holiday with friends and family and like me you are looking forward to another exciting term ahead. We certainly have a lot to look forward to!

A very special welcome to all our new families who joined us for the first time this week – it is a pleasure to welcome you to the BIS community, I look forward to speaking with you as we meet at the many campus events in the weeks to come.

The examination season has opened and following a rousing send off for our Year 11 and 13 students last term we wish them all the very best in the weeks ahead. For those parents particularly we are here to support this revision and preparation stage and so please do contact us if we can help.

It was a delight yesterday to meet Year 11 students emerging from exams looking very pleased with themselves and showing the confidence that good preparation brings.

The Year 7 PTSC takes place on Monday and I am looking forward to those conversations that will offer parents more understanding of the learning taking place and how to support and add to their child’s next steps forward with us.

Further ahead we eagerly anticipate the Year 12 study visit to Con Dao, City sporting championships, the second BIS F1 Grand Prix, the annual Aquathlon and now Triathlon, the Saigon Maths competitions, the IB Visual Arts Exhibition, several House competitions, the Week Without Walls and the Year 9 Borneo Expedition …and the list goes on…there is something for everyone, please do keep in touch with upcoming events with this weekly newsletter.

Have a wonderful term ahead everyone!
