Nam Runs Nam Day

On Thursday 27th June, BIS Junior Campus and Early Years and Infant Campus are hosting ‘Nam Runs Nam Day’.

Nam Runs Nam Day - BIS HCMC

Children and staff are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite sports person, sport or sports team. The suggested donation towards the ‘Nam Runs Nam’ charity is 50,000 VND. There will be fitness and wellbeing activities running throughout the day, to promote health for body and mind.

What is Nam Runs Nam?

From October 2019, Ms Naomi, currently teaching in Year 2, will be running 2,200km from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City! As far as she is aware, this is the first time someone has attempted to run this route.

The main focus of the run will be to raise money and awareness of five charities that support vulnerable Vietnamese children by providing fun, safe spaces in which to learn and grow. To learn more about her challenge, the charities she is supporting and how you can help, please visit her website www.namrunsnam.com.
