These past two days we have enjoyed wonderful Tet celebrations here at the Junior Campus.

Chuc mung nam moi

These past two days we have enjoyed wonderful Tet celebrations here at the Junior Campus. On Monday, our students were treated to two amazing assemblies with performers from both the Early Years and Infant Campus and the Junior Campus.  We learned all about the various tribes and communities within Vietnam, their dress, their customs and it gave us a real understanding of the many different cultural and ethnic groups that make up our wonderful host nation.  The children from the Early Years and Infant Campus shared some beautiful dancing with us taking us on a journey from the traditional to the modern and they certainly did a magnificent job.  We also had guest musicians that opened our assembly and played traditional Vietnamese instruments. They were fantastic and got everyone in the Tet spirit!

Today, the children all enjoyed the Tet Fair. Organised once more by our amazing TAs, there were traditional activities for all the students from games to art and crafts to trying some traditional Vietnamese food. Housed in the Gym this year, the Teaching Assistants helped make magical memories for the students with a wonderful array of activities.

Our sincere thanks to all the staff involved over the last two days.  It really was a wonderful way to start the Tet celebrations for our whole community.

Enjoy reading more about it and viewing the photos here.
