For those new to the school, International Week takes place at the end of January 2021 and is a week filled with activities, learning opportunities, costumes and parades celebrating the diverse cultures within the BIS School community.
During International Week, the PTG, lead by Lily Guarjardo, organise the much loved Global Café. This is an event where Country Representatives and parent volunteers work hard to create a visual representation of their home country and offer delicious culinary delights for everyone to try!
This event woud not be possible without the support, dedication and creativity of the Country Reps and parent volunteers, and we are so grateful to all those who have already stepped up to support create another wonderful event.
There are still Country Rep vacancies, meaning some of the BIS childrens nationalities will not be represented at Global Café. If you would like to make sure your childs country is represented at the Global Café, or would like to volunteer to support your appointed Country Rep but don’t know who that is, please email Lily (PTG Lead Global Café) or Ai (Country Rep Coordinator) at email@example.com and they will help you get involved!! It is such a fun and rewarding role you will not be disappointed!
