As we say goodbye to term 1, we are already excitedly planning term 2 events! Two BIG events that we are all really looking forward to are International Week including the delicious Global Café, and the Spring fair. These two are key events for the school and we are hopeful that, like previous years, we will get a lot of support from you all this year too!
In addition to these, you can see a summary of the scheduled events we are already working on:
Thurs 7th January – Welcome Back Coffee Morning! A wonderful opportunity to finally meet all new families, and reconnect with those existing BIS families we have missed seeing during these restricted times.
Tues 12th January – PTG Bus Tour and Lunch – A fun way for you to familiarize yourselves with the ‘hot spots’ of Thao Dien and District 1, HCMC, with the option of joining together for lunch! (More information will be shared in the new year!)
25th-29th January – International Week & Global Café!
Thursday 4th March – Book Swap - Donate unwanted books, exchange for something new, and whatever is left over will be donated to our Community Partners…It’s a WIN WIN WIN! Volunteers welcome!! Whether you can spare an hour to sort the books, or are available to help on the day of the event, the is a role for you! See the Sign Up link Below.
Saturday 20th March – Spring Fair! It’s the event of the Spring providing fun for all the family. Its 3 months away but we are already starting to work on it and are in need of many volunteers to make this event as memorable as it always is! Sign Up link below.
Thursday 15th April – Thuy’s Dream Cancer Coffee Morning. A very special event that raises awareness and funds for an incredibly important Cancer Charity in our community called Thuys Dream. More information will follow but we would be so grateful to anyone who can volunteer some time to help with this event. Please sign up via the link below.
Thursday 15th April – Term 2 PTG Disco
Thurs 10th June – Term 3 End Year PTG Disco
None of these events will happen with out the support and commitment from our parent community. If you are able to spare even a small amount of time to help plan, set up, or execute any of the events, please help to register via this sign up link, and the PTG team will be in touch with you soon!
Primary PTG team would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! We hope you get to relax and spend quality time with your family. Be safe and we will meet you all in term 2.
Best Wishes,
Gayatri, Lily, Thomas, Ai, Vivian, Pamela and Jana
