F3 Firsts

There have been lots of ‘firsts’ this week in F3, including the morning ‘Goodbye’ to Mums and Dads at the front gate for the very first time.

  • F3 2

It was great to welcome parents to the F3 ELC last week by appointment, as we always take great joy in getting to know our families. Teachers and teaching assistants have supported F3 children into school this week as our rules still prohibit parents on site, but we have been so impressed by the tremendous maturity and independence F3 children have shown already. Of course well done to the Mums and Dads too, as it can be hard to say goodbye!

Other firsts this week included swimming lessons in the big pool and a visit to the roof garden. Mr Lamech and the swimming team did a fantastic job with leading the first session and all classes who visited the roof garden were able to explore the climbing wall, had digging and planting opportunities and even had the chance to try out bigger movement skills like climbing up and balancing along barrels. Children met Mr Luke and the Beebots for their first ICT lesson in the DREAMS lab and we learned how to greet Ms Fiorella in Spanish class A great start to life in F3.
