U15 FOBISIA Games

There will be a Parents’ Meeting tomorrow (Tuesday 1 November) in the PE classroom if you’d like to hear more about our upcoming trip to Beijing.

Arsenal Soccer Training

Recently we have been looking at other venues for our Football training. This is for two reasons:

  1. Arsenal (Soi Pridi 21) may close in the near future. They are building on the 11-a-side pitch this year and may develop the rest of the land in the same way;

  2. The astro pitches are very small and don’t allow us to train for games very effectively.

PE team have therefore been looking at alternative venues for our football squads. They are expanding year by year and we need to secure a training facility for the future of our squads, which means we need to look into a possible change. As Soccer Pro pitches have the correct sized 7-a-side pitches - and it is only 15 minutes to the venue - it seems this could be a great option.

Arsenal will remain first choice until further notice.

Basketball

With the TISAC season mostly concluded, we can look back on a very successful term.

U11 Boys: TISAC League Champions
U11 Girls: TISAC League Champions
U13 Boys: TISAC League Champions & TISAC Tournament Champions
U13 Girls: TISAC League Champions & TISAC Tournament Champions
U15 Girls: TISAC League Champions

All five of these teams are unbeaten.

Unfortunately, it looks  as if the U15 and Senior Tournaments will no longer take place and we can’t attend the U11 Tournaments as we are at the NAE Games.

We still have the U15 & U13 FOBISIA Games, the NAE Games and the Senior Invitational Games to look forward to.
