DANCE

The Village School Dance Program provides curricular dance classes in all areas and levels of expertise, offering a broad spectrum of experiences across ballet, lyrical, modern/contemporary, hip-hop, pointe, musical theatre, multi-cultural dance, and tap.

Curricular dance classes also cover the theory and application of choreography and dance history to supplement students’ practical experiences and performance skills. Our faculty are experienced professional dancers and educators who are eager to share the joy of dance and encourage students to reach their highest potential . 

Each dance class presents opportunities for students to enjoy the physical benefits of dance, as well as artistic discipline and intellectual and creative growth. The program develops students’ interest in creative performance and dance as an intellectual craft, while also establishing a cohort of teamwork. As part of Nord Anglia Education, The Village School Dance Program includes a collaboration with the Juilliard School of Theatre and Dance and extraordinary opportunities like master classes, workshops, and residencies with local and national dance professionals.
