The Village School Math/Science Team had an awesome showing at the TMSCA meet held at the Carnegie Vanguard High School on Saturday, October 29. The team won all four events: Number Sense, Calculator, General Math and Science. The team also received the First Place Sweepstakes Award with a total of 4436 points (second place had 2466 points)

Summer learning loss, also known as the "summer slide," refers to the decline in academic and social skills that can occur when children are not engaged in educational activities during the summer months. Dana Sheridan, LPC, Lower School Counselor at The Village School, sheds light on this issue and offers practical solutions for parents to keep their children's minds active during the long summer break.
