English Play - Hobson's Choice Get your tickets for this year's English Play in the new Theatre.

Hobson's Choice is a comedy written by Harold Brighouse and our students have been working hard to bring this play to life.

The cast are learning their lines and honing their charactertisation for the two performances on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th December in the new Theatre facility. Tickets are 1000 HUF and are available at the Secondary reception. Don't miss out on this fantastic chance to be entertained by this excellent production.

David Lean’s film adaptation of Hobson’s Choice won a BAFTA award for Best Film and a Golden Bear Award at the Berlin Film Festival in 1954. John Mills and Brenda de Banzie played the roles of Willie Mossop (who is realized by Manuel Elikishvili) , and Maggie Hobson played by our own Emma Farkas. Mr. Hobson, originally played by Charles Laughton, is brought to life by BISB’s Nondas Tosounis. The BISB production is sure to be as award-winning as the iconic movie.
