Congratulations to our Year 3 and Year 4 students for their amazing musical performance this week.
On Tuesday 24th April Year 3 students performed a recorder concert for their parents in the school theatre. Our Year 3 students have been working hard and practising since September to show off their recorder talents and to progress through the various recorder karate belts. Year 3 played a variety of songs from White Belt ‘Hot Cross Buns’ to Gold Belt ‘Eine Kleine Nachtmusik’! This year they even performed a duet and a well-known tune ‘The Pirates of the Caribbean’.
On Wednesday 25th April Year 4 students performed a ukulele concert for their parents in the school theatre. Our Year 4 students have been learning the ukulele this year and have received ukulele stickers as they have learnt new songs. Year 4 played a variety of songs and you could really see the concentration on their faces. They performed songs with both picking and strumming techniques and played ‘In the Jungle’ as their finale song.
Well done to both year groups for all the wonderful learning! Thank you, parents, for your support and attending the concerts.
