The tree is in serious danger of being cut down, just like the rainforests around the world. In the process of performing the assembly the children chose to work in different groups. Some found and presented information on plants, animals, the water cycle, layers of the rainforest and the importance of rainforests. Other groups worked on an umbrella bird and monkey dance. The children worked collaboratively to make the assembly a learning experience and a success!
