Year 2 Blueberry student Laura Ivanka made it to the finals in the Hungarian National Student Olympics last weekend. Laura was awarded a gold medal, achieving first place in her age category for Rhythmic Gymnastics.

For those of you who don’t already know Laura is also a champion skier, having won medals and awards for Hungary for her excellent performances during the ski season!
Laura and her family are dedicated to her training and practice outside school. At the tender age of 7 Laura has been professionally advised to make now make a choice between the two sports to plan for her future.

Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
