What do Model United Nations teams do when they can't hold a European conference in person? They create a virtual one.
The British International School Budapest is proud to host the first-ever Nord Anglia Education Model United Nations European virtual conference next Thursday and Friday. Our nine chairpersons from Years 12-13 are organising and planning the conference for over 100 delegates from all across Europe. From background guides to co-chairs, parliamentary procedure to Zoom etiquette; they have it covered. Meanwhile, our delegates from Year 10-11 have been preparing their positions and opening speeches for a chance to compete as best delegate in their committees.
It's sure to be an exciting event and we are looking forward to our first steps into the world of virtual diplomacy.
