We have had a wonderful English Week in Primary. Students and staff looked wonderful dressed up as their favourite book characters on Thursday for World Book Day. The vocabulary walls on every class door have grown rapidly, as classes add new and exciting words throughout the week.
Winners of The Spelling Bee, Extreme Reading Competition and Guess Your Teachers' Favourite Books competition will be announced in Assembly on Monday. We’ve had about 100 entries into the Extreme Reading Competition. Please come and take a look outside Mr Rosie’s room behind the pavilion. Mr Russell has an extremely difficult job choosing the winners!

Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
